No. Rotor is built for GTM engineers who already write code with Claude Code. There is no canvas. You author workflows in TypeScript in your repo, deploy with one command, and run them on durable infrastructure with retries that work and state that survives crashes.

Claude Routines is great for the first 15 a day. Rotor is for everything after. We have no daily cap, sub-minute schedules, automatic retries, and durable state that resumes after crashes. If you have hit the Claude Pro or Max routine cap, that is the signal to switch.

Cron runs your script. That is all it does. When the script fails, it fails. There are no retries. There is no state between runs. When the server reboots, your jobs are dead until you SSH back in. Rotor adds the durability layer on top of the same code you would have run yourself.

No. Rotor sits on top of your CRM and orchestrates writes into it. We do not store contacts, deals, or accounts as our source of truth. We drive the workflows that read from and write to the systems you already trust.

Your existing sender does. Rotor orchestrates around Smartlead, Lemlist, Instantly, Resend, or whatever you use. We do not touch your deliverability setup. We add the approval, personalization, and audit layer on top.

No. Rotor works with Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, VS Code, or vanilla terminal. We build the Claude Code experience first because that is where our first customers live, but nothing is Claude Code-gated.

Yes. And ours works in production, not just on a developer laptop. Every Rotor workflow is automatically callable as an MCP tool by any agent that speaks MCP. Authenticate with a workspace API key, call workflows, get results.

Enterprise only, for teams with a compliance or data-residency requirement. For everyone else, Rotor Cloud on Hobby or Starter is simpler and cheaper.
